17 month DS doesn't like kissing...?

He likes being carried, held, playing close/throws himself all over us - and is perfectly fine, meeting all milestones etc. But he doesn't really like kissing or being kissed. He turns his head away except when it's a good night kiss, when he'll leave forward.

I hate to use the word 'normal' behaviour but is it? Are some babies like that? He really likes people and other babies and is very engaging

Yeah, it's funny because he loves being held and being close

Both ds2 and dd were three before they got the significance of a kiss. Up till that point I think they just though it was needless slobbering and pecking.

Can you make kissing more of a laugh? Do it in a funny way? With my older ones I'd tell them not to kiss me under any circumstances and they would.
