18 month old has just climbed out of cot - time for a bed?

Hiya, my little girl has just managed to climb up and then fell out of the cot - EEK! Feel awful bout it - didn't think she could climb up. Should we take the sides off the cot and turn it into a cot bed now? Thanks

My DD was in a bed (and not even a toddler one... a normal single one with a safety rail) by 18 months.

DS was the same. He was in a standard single (now in a double) before 2YO.
