Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could offer advice on our latest drama... DS eats well (he seems to still be a bit gaggy, he doesn't like surprise lumps in food) but has been sick an awful lot recently, usually on me. He is usually fine during the day, but in the evening when he is tired he can get quite upset and if he cries, he is sick. We stupidly tried putting him down for bed awake awful parents clearly the other day and he projectile vomited EVERYWHERE, poor little thing. He has also previously been sick in the night when he's woken up and DH has tried to comfort him (bit of a mummy's boy ATM), but this evening we were just sat quietly on the sofa with some white noise and out of nowhere he threw up. Should I speak to the doctor/hv? Both are about as useful as a chocolate kettle often unable to provide useful advice, so I thought I'd try here. Am I overfeeding him? Does he have a medical problem? He wasn't a sicky baby

:(

My DS was like this but from being a newborn. He would bring up huge volumes of vomit that seemed disproportionate to his intake! He finally stopped at 15 months when he stopped drinking milk. He still has milk on cereal and seems to cope ok with that. It wouldn't harm to talk to your HV or GP particularly as he has only started doing it recently.

My neighbour's DD was diagnosed with reflux, aged 2. She was mostly sick at bedtime.

Okay thanks... Seems like a trip to the doctors is inevitable! Typical its the extended Bank Holiday weekend... Grrr Hmm
