2 year old odd shaped head

My 2 year old DS head looks unusual, everyone seems to comment on it. I have brought this up with doctors/HV several times. His head is very big at the back like a lightbult rather that flatish or graduated. HV/doctors have said that it is on the scale of normal and as he has normal development they will not look into it. His top soft spot did not close until 18mths and he has a ridge where the bones overlap. Should I just leave it ot take him back to the doctors?

honestly I think parents know best and if you are still worried then you do need a 2nd opinion. Chances are it's just the shape of his head! Heads are varied in shape....he is young yet but set your mind at rest and go back.

I did this rather with my DD2 who had a clicky hip and I was convinced she had hip dysplacia...it DOEs sound though that hus head development is normal

Look up plagiocephaly, and click images. Many pics of kids wearing helmets. My head is rather flat on back as I was third child and Mom had a toddler and a three year old. I think I was left in bed a lot. Anyway, head shapes can be corrected, generally as tiny babies.
