what toy does your 20 month old love?

just hoping for new suggestions for ds! (he seems to get bored with toys easily!) (i rotate his toys so he doesnt have the same ones out all the time!)

hiya, my ds, loves to draw with his chunky crayons, and Mega Blox are his favourite that he always goes back to! He likes his sister's barbie dolls too!

ds loves drawing (scribbling really), on paper and got a childs easel/blackboard. plastic animals, pink barbie buggy. Just got an electric keyboard as a handme down and is quite fun for him. sticker books too.

my 22month ds love his 'my first thomas the tank engine railway set and engines'........he got it at christmas and has been constantly played with every since........
also loves his bob the builder figures and vehicles.....

DD loves aquadraw, drawing, wooden puzles, mega blocks, plastic food, tea set and her pop up tent.

Ds 20 months loves playing with Thomas train set also small cars and garage. This can last him for ages, anything else gets a minute at the most.

LOL Browny - my DS loves playing with his sisters Barbies too! -in fact he makes a bee-line for anything of hers like Polly Pockets, Micropet, felt pens.

With his own toys he quite likes cars,diggers and his road mat, wooden puzzles and books

Magnadoodle type thing - keeps my dd (19mo) amused for oooh, minutes, quite good for her!

Glittery little soft plastic sea animals (type that come a dozenin a plastic tube from sea life centres).
elastic bands ("rubber bands").
Anything with wheels on it.
KlickClack Track (ELC sells it?).
Brio-type trains, tractors with trailers.
Anything his sister is playing with.
Crayons (great for throwing around the living room).
Ride-on cars, doll pushchairs. Polly pocket accessories (soft plastic, again).
You can tell he's a tactile kid.

Given a stack of plastic bowls and cups, he Loves to spoon food or water in and out of them.

ELC 'Happyland' train and tracks.

May be related to the fact that we frequently go on trains, but it is also a very well made toy. Nice chunky tracks which she can manage by herself... very simple - its only gimick is that it moves when you put the driver in his cab.

Been a favourite for months.

Dd loves drawing at the moment, the house is covered in her "art".
she loves her little plastic "mammals" (animals)
she also plays alot with her pram and baby.
also anything that shes not supossed to touch!

dgs finds elastic bands because of my work but he loves them so much he puts them in his mouth which is panic stations..

thanks for the suggestions ladies!
dh got him a pop-up tent from argos yesterday and he seems to love dragging his toys in there...
think i may attempt to make some playdough...

too many rainy days in a row this week!!!!

22 month old loves:

scribbling (with pens, crayons are far too babyish lol)
loud adultish musical instruments (dh bought him a wooden set)
a pink buggy (just pushing it around, no doll0
fiddling with the older boys lego, again big stuff too babyish

im still in shock that your children are allowed to play with elastic bands!
my brother is blind in one eye since he was 2 from an elastic band accident!

DD 21 months loves drawing. We bought her a toddlers echer sketcher for xmas and she draws for hours.
