Ds poked dd up her bottom

Yesterday i was sat on the settee listening to dd (5) read. Ds was interested in the story she was reading so came and sat next to her. Dd was reading slowly and looking at pictures, and ds kept telling her to hurry up as he wasted to see what happened next. Dd then started to cry because ds had poked her up the bottom. I was really horrified and told ds off. He was very embarassed and sorry and said he didn't know why he had done it. Dd said ds had never done it before and i have no reason to believe that he did and have never had any such worries about either dc before. Should i just forget it? I just found it a bit disturbing.

I should add, both dc were naked because they had been playing in the paddling pool in the hot weather.

Sorry, cross posted. Thank you so much for the reassurance. My gut feeling was that it was one of those things, but felt a bit uneasy.
