don't think dd's arrived that early! I started cleaning them when she was weaned if that's any help?

Ah enthusia what a good question, haven't even thought about it ds2 tooth arrived when he about 10-11 months so we strated brushing right away with baby toothpaste and toothbrush.

dd tooth arrived a week or so ago, when she was about 13 weeks, but it hasn't crossed my mind to brush it

But now you've brought it to my attention, I think I'll leave it untill she's on solids. I might give her a wee toothbrush to chew on though

yes it good to get into the habit straight away.... even if its just putting a dot of toothpaste on your finger and touching the tooth with it IUSWIM!

Redtartanlass · 20/02/2006 09:57

nannyl - agree completely about getting into habit, but think dd too wee for toothpaste, she gags on calpol never mind toothpaste

we cleaned ds's teeth as soon as they came in... with a soft cloth at first until they came up more.. and gradually introduced toothpaste
