Feeding pattern reversing

Hi ladies. My little on is 5 weeks old. She has always been a relatively good sleeper. She started with every 2 hours but not goes every 2.5 to 3 hours in the day and then mostly 3 to 4 at night. She went 5 the other night.
However the last couple of days she has started to only take 60ml, instead of the 120 she has been taking and wanting more every one to two hours. I am not really sure why. She's bringing up wind ok. She gets about half way through and the grunts and gags and won't take anymore. Any ideas why this could be happening and any tips would be really helpful. Oh I am bottle feeding btw. Thanks!

I'd say just continue what you have been doing as things can and do change constantly.

Thanks. Just worried she is unwell or is suffering from wind. She is crying more than before and being a bit more sick. We are using infacol and that seems to bring up wind but I suspect not all of it.
Is colief better?

She might have reflux, she might have an intolerance to the cows milk in the formula. Or she might be hungry more often - they do change especially if she's having a growth spurt (where it's better to feed more often when smaller).

Keep an eye on the sickness. If it gets worse, try comfort milk and speak to your GP.

Thanks, hadn't realised she might feed less but more often in a growth spurt. That could explain it. I will keep an eye on her. I have my post natal check on thurs so can always talk to my GP then. Thanks for replying.

My LO is five weeks today and we have just had four days of her behaving like this, with no real reason and her sleep was up the pole as well, just wanted to say bear with it, shes slept through for the first time last night and is taking big bottles again - also DD is sick more when shes unsettled think its because shes screaming and crying and wriggling

She actually slept really well last night; went 5 and half hours, which surprised us. Then again today she only took 60ml in all but 1 feed. But the fact that she slept ok makes me think shes doing ok. Paranoid that I might be doing something wrong! Guess that's normal :-)
