When Do You Get Your First Giggle?

DS is only 2 weeks old so I'm not expecting much yet. We've had a few half smiles but when do you generally expect to get proper smiles and giggles?

We got our first proper smile just before 6 weeks. previous to that we had a few 'was that wind or a smile?' moments but once you have a smile with eye contact you know for sure. Giggles were around 3/4 months I think. When you get them it makes all those grizzling days and sleepless nights worth it!! Enjoy Grin

My DS was a late starter compared to his sisters and didn't smile properly until he was 10 weeks. He's now 10 months and we're still waiting for a proper chuckle, sometimes I'm convinced he just doesn't know how to lol

Can't remember with my little boy (Opps!) but my now 14wk old smiled quite early 3wk. Def smile but only about once a day til 5wk then was a little smiler! Giggled about 12wk.

DD started doing proper (not just windy) smiles at 7-8 weeks, giggles at 14-15 weeks. Lots of other interesting noises in between :-)

According to DS's baby firsts book he smiled at 3 weeks and giggled at 17 weeks.
