I've weaned my 10 month old down to 2 bottles a day...

Is this ok? I thought the idea was to try and get them down to a morning and evening bottle and replace the other ones with snacks - which I've done - but now concerned he's not getting enough formula. They're big bottles (210 ml which goes up to 240 once the powder's added).

Is this right?

Thats fine.

As long as they have plenty to drink and lots of calcium in their diet it's about time to cut down to 2.

they should be having 20oz a day but that can be made up with cheese, yog etc, how many oz a day is he having? and you count how many oz it is before the powder is added, so 210 ml feed is 7oz? so thats 14oz of milk and you are probably making the rest up easily with cheese, yog, or milk on bfast etc :)

Thanks that helps :)

~I'm not giving him much in the way of normal milk / yogurt / cheese so probably need to increase it.
