started to train my DD whos 2yrs 8months, and when she has no clothes on she will use the potty with no accidents, as soon as she has clothes on, or is distracted we have several accidents a day, today we have had 3 accidents- both poo and wee, but it can range anywhere between 0-4 accidents a day. Tried everything, reward charts, promting, putting her on the potty every couple of hours. The other day in morrisons she said she needed a wee, i went to the toilets she had a wee and went back round the shops and she'd poo'd in her pants within 5 minutes.

Not sure what to do, is she too young? Should i put her back in nappies?

How long have you been training for? It sounds like that she is very close to being ready. Unless it has been several weeks it sounds like its worth you persisting.

Both my children went through a phase of using the potty wee when bare bottom, but treating pants as a nappy.

Cloth trainer pants worked for dd and saved my sanity. I think as far as bribary goes you need to find what works for your child. With ds I used chocolate, but dd wasn't interested in chocolate and prefered pringles.

The important thing is to remain upbeat and postive about sucess and not lose your temper with failure.

i think it has been around the three week mark, i did try about 4 months ago- same thing happened so we put her back in nappies.
