Hi,
My gorgeous ds was born at 35+2 weighing 6lb3oz I have weighed him today and he is now 10lb6oz he was 8lb6oz this time last week. He is averaging at 140ml every 3 hours. He is 6 weeks old today. Does that sound like steady weight gain or too much? Will speak to hv on Tuesday but as its a bank holiday there is no hcp I can check with until then.
Tia

How is it looking on the chart in his red book? Four pounds in six weeks sounds about right - mine both put on about three pounds a month until they were 1.

My LO was drinking more than that at that age if he had a bottle, so I wouldnt say it's too much food.

His gain also sounds good but definitely not too much! My LO had no weight gain for 3 weeks then was gaining 2lb a week for a while.

They only worry if buba doesn't gain or climbs the centiles quickly a lot.
