potty training???

i feel a bit of a prat but because ive got a 10year age gap between the boys i cant remember when you start potty training? i knew mumsnet would be able to advise! hes 16months old, shall i leave it till the summer when tiddling in the garden isnt as bad as tiddling on my carpet or is he too young anyway, i honestly cant remember

Usually between 2 and 3 years old is considered the best ages, from what I have read on MN anyway! And do it when they show signs of being ready - makes it a far easier and much quicker task for you.
