Is this amount of sleep normal?!

my baby seems to need very little sleep. In fact less than I do!!
She is 8 months and wakes at 7am ish in the morning, tends to have one sleep of about an hour late morning, then she will have one 5 min cat nap around 5ish while feeding! Then doesn't go to sleep till 9 irv10 pm!
She is happy and wide awake all day, even when out in car or pram or sling. Wide awake!

If she for any reason falls asleep earlier than 9pm (she did yesterday as she didn't have the 5 min cat nap in the afternoon) she slept till 5 am then was up and singing raring to start the day !

DD was exactly like this. She needed very little daytime sleep in particular. She'd have a catnap in the morning but at about 12 months she dropped that and was awake all day. By 18 months she was awake at 7am and not tired till 10pm. She was alert, sunny, chirpy and we had to be careful that she didn't nod off in the car or anything as she'd be up till midnight. She's nearly 5yo now and starting school has changed her habits. She is mentally exhausted and is now asleep by 8pm usually and up at 7.30am. But the toddler years were very hard indeed.

DS is 8mo and doesn't need a lot of sleep either. He sleeps for 90 minutes in the morning and has a brief catnap in the sling during school pick-up. But that's it for during the day.
