ds is 7 1/2 months and still has no teeth is this normal?

Yes. It's absolutely fine. DS didn't get his first tooth till just under 11 months, and now has nearly a full set at 23 months. I think it's quite usual for it to be up to a year till a child get's their first teeth. Apparently late teething tends to run in families.

DD2 got her first at 1 months, now she is 18 months and still only has 4!

My DD2 didn't get her first tooth till she was 14 months old!!
Not entirely usual but she now has her full set. I think they just come in when they are ready.

ds got his first at 10 months dd cut her first today will be 1 on thursday. My dentist told me of a friend of theres who diidn't get any until nearly 2 but then had no problems

my italian friend took her son to a doctor in italy cos he was one and had no teeth. the doctor was very dismissive and said "i have never seen an adult who has no teeth - they will come". they did, and my friend laughs about it now. in fact we all do

DD is 11 months old and has two teeth (she's had the two since 5.5 months old). No sign of others yet.

ds got his first tooth the day before his first birthday, not that you would have known- he didn't let that stand in the way of his grub!

Yes its normal, ds got his first at 8.5 months.
He has 6 now at 13 months. They all seem to come at once!

DD was 13 months when she got her first tooth. They all then came through in the wrong order.
Mind you, never stopped her eating anything and everything!
