Need a good book for kids about puberty/development

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good book for boys and girls on this topic? DS is 10 and DD is 8. They both know about the birds and bees but I'd like them to have a book to look through about puberty/changes to their bodies, etc. My mum gave me a book like this when I was about 9 and although I cringed at the time, I did look at it quite a lot and found it a good source of answers to the things I was wondering about.

I haven't been able to find anything suitable for my DCs. It's all either teenage pregnancy or basic "this is how babies are made" stuff. Can anyone suggest a good book? Maybe different books for a boy and a girl?

I bought my DD 'What is happening to my body' after it was recommended on here (they do a girl and a boy version) and left her to read it for herself. I wouldn't often find it open in her bed when she had fallen asleep. It seems to cover everything Grin

I found "Hair in Funny Places" very good right up thru 10yo, would be fine for 8yo. For that matter, so is the other Babette Cole book: Mummy Never Told Me (but do read reviews for that one first).

I got Sex Puberty and All That STuff for DS when he was 11.5yo, and he seems quite happy with it. A bit less explicit than some.

Living with a Willy is also very good, but I would save for a boy age 14+.

I bought DD THIS BOOK Last year at 8.

Its brilliant, far more age appropriate for kids of that age, than others I've looked at & she loves it -

the other I bought & regretted as WAYYYYy too much detail & info on drugs etc, will stay on top of the wardrobe for a few years yetGrin

Thanks all, I'm going to look at all these on Amazon and choose. Haven't heard of any of these so am glad I asked!
