do your 1 year old's ankles roll in slightly when standing?

If so how much is normal? I have slightly loose ligaments and have always had problems with joints so I may well be being paranoid. DD is nearly 13months and is confident with standing, whilst holding something and cruising but not walking yet. I noticed today that her ankles were turning in slightly, is this normal, will it correct as she gets stronger? She has clicky joints but HV and Dr say this is normal when I've mentioned it before.
Does anyone have any experience/knowledge/advice?

If you're worried ask for a referral to a physio.

Ooh, lots of threads! I choose this one!

It is normal for toddler feet to roll inwards, but if you are worried that it's too much, see the doctor or the HV for reassurance. I asked that question when mine were little because I was worried about that, but the GP said it was normal. I've since seen lots of toddlers with turned in ankles, and my two have grown out of it.

Yes, it is normal but speak to someone if you are worried. The first walking shoes from Clarks or Startrite or wherever often have ankle support to help get feet into the right position.
