Headbutting 16 month old...

My 16 month old DS has recently started headbutting stuff when he gets angry, not just me but floors, stairgates, highchair, doors, anything. I am sure this is just normal frustration, but wanted to check! I tend to try and ignore it or put my hand under his head tell him not to be silly and try to distract him.

Any thoughts or advice very welcome! other than this he is a total dollface!

Going through the same with our 16 month DS. We have been told to ignore it. Finding this okay in the day but not overnight worried about him seriously hurting himself of a night x
