My 22 month old has been holding back his wee all day. No poo this morning and no wee all day according to the nursery. He has been eating and drinking all day..and nothing.
Should I be thinking UTI and having a panic attack? Or could this be readiness for toilet training? Wwyd? Any advice will be great!!

Have there been any changes to where he normally goes, new paint, different loo etc. It doesn't take much to disrupt them. Keep giving water and see. Is his tummy tender or his bits red or swollen at all? If no wee by morning I would suggest pay GP a visit just to check.

Thanks! He is all ok with all you mention. Did a bit of wee after dinner. They have installed giant new windows in his nursery room, he does not seem to bothered by then though...but you never know.
