She's 4.5.
I'm finding her really difficult at the moment as she seems constantly angry with me and i'm sure it's to do with the fact that I worry about her.
She seems very grown up one moment and then has tantrums the next. For example when I picked her up from nursery she wanted to play with some of her friends so she and DS who is 2 did for about 30 minutes. When we had to go she wanted to get into the car first and was a bit mean to her little brother pushing him out of the way. He let her and she got in. When he had climbed in and started to get into his seat, she decided she wanted to sit in his seat. He was happy to let her as he likes the big seat and as its a short journey I strapped them in. Then as I started the car she just started screaming at me to stop the car and go back as she didn't want to sit in his seat.
I carried on driving home and when we got back she was still screaming and yawning so she was obviously tired and couldn't stop herself.
I've had 2 days of grumpiness since she went back to nursery yesterday and I really don't know what to do or how to handle it.
She has multiple food allergies and hayfever and possibly asthma, so she hasn't been sleeping well the last few days and I'm sure this is the real problem. She is just uncomfortable at night and has been coughing alot but trying to sleep through it and also scratching alot but again trying to sleep through it.
I find dealing with the number of allergies she has very stressful as I find it all very worrying so I'm sure I haven't helped her, but please don't judge me on this. I just need to know how I should handle her when she's like this. She's 'normally' a very calm happy child and was for the last 2 weeks and she seems to be in a foul mood after nursery. This started about 3 weeks before the 2 week easter holiday. She was fine during the holiday, but it started up again yesterday and was horrible today. It always seems to be after nursery and I wonder if it's just the combination of lack of sleep and being overly tired.
I find myself shouting at her trying to be heard over her screams but I know that's not the right thing to do.
