Hi, is this a real thing? Literally overnight 18mth girl has gone from only waking briefly once a night to screaming the house down for about 4 hours. Only happy when held and falls asleep for 10mins then wide awake and screaming. No temperature, not interested in milk. She's got some back teeth through but not all.Has developed a certain "attitude". Any words of advise appreciated, thanks

nope all pretty normal, sleeping patterns change all the time until they are school age (then they start getting nightmares and scream in the night about that instead!).
She has now realised that you will definately come when she screams and that is infinately more exciting than staring at the wall whilst awake.
do not be the better option, go in, settle her quickly (no cuddling or picking up) then walk out. do it as many times as you have to but dont give in, the longer you take the longer it will take..... good luck!
