On the 28th March my 9.5 month old daughter came down with an awful stomach virus. She completely went off everything, milk, food and fluids. After a couple of days she was taking milk again but we were recommended to water it down at times as she still wasn't taking on fluids. She's now taking normal milk again but is still not eating her meals. We make our own food for her and the most she'll have is a couple of mouthfuls then that's it. She has porridge in the morning though so that's one positive. She's having a banana or yoghurt at lunch time and maybe a fruit pot in the evening.

Is this normal almost 2 weeks on from first becoming ill? Do we just have to take our time or should we be starting to think about taking her back to doctor?

i'd say just give her time, if she is eating but only samll amounts, try building it up gradually. you don't want to make a big deal out of 'forcing' her (not that I'm suggesting you are!) and you want her to rediscover the pleasure of food in her own time and on her own terms. She'll let you know when she is ready!
