15 month DD shaking her head (usually about once) at mealtimes

Is this strange or normal? She shakes her head from side to side a few times. Not repeatedly but once a meal or so. Always in the highchair, don't think I've seen it anywhere else. She's sort of started to shake to 'no' too, so I'm thinkig maybe she likes the sensation, but then I also think of things on autistic spectrum and worry

Perfectly normal.

That sounds pretty normal to me! Both DS and DD learnt to shake their heads like that which started at mealtimes too. Progressed to doing it everytime anyone said no and then used it independently to mean yes or no interchangeably Grin. Very confusing!

Sorry, I don't get it. You think your dd may be autistic because she shakes her head? Surely it's much more likely that she's saying no? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I just don't understand? Seriously, most things can be attributed to autism if you really try, so please try not to worry and l

Sorry... Look for things that aren't there.
