14 m DS stopped kissing, cause for concern?

My DS learnt to kiss (open mouthed, wet kisses) and would lean forward and kiss when asked. But for the past month or so he's 95% stopped doing it. He just flat refuses.

He blows kisses by smacking his lips and will do so to everyone he knows and loves but he just won't give us a kiss.

He constantly puts his arms up to be carried and he's always climbing all over us, so it's not like I don't think he's affectionate.

But maybe that isn't enough. Shoudl I be worrie dand think he's not affectionate all of a sudden? Or is it phases with this stuff?

Perfectly normal. They get a new skill, show it off, then get fed up and learn something else to show off with instead Grin

My 2.1 yr old kisses his toy cars, the legs of his high chair, his potty, the sofa -but acts repelled when I ask for a kiss and refuses to kiss his dad/grandparents etc.

(but then he will sometimes sneak up and give me a big smacker - it has to be on his terms though!)
