LOL, Nemo! And v. impressed by your ds's ability to find and change pants by himself - he could teach my 7 year old a thing or two! My DS3 (2.3 also) will only wear pants that have diggers on them, though - dump trucks, no good; tractors, no good; cement mixers, no good - it's diggers or nothing...

Aw bless! He is obviously just so excited by it all. After all, presumably he now has a drawerful of "new" pants? That is soooo cute

Nemo1977 · 06/02/2006 16:31

lol julia if ds had digger ones he would wear them. Actually thinking about it all his pants have a character on so thats probably it.

miao yes he does love his new pants and his highlight of the day was picking undies of a morning but now he goes and sorts himself out through the day..lol

Does he proudly show his pants to strangers? Mine does!

DD (4yrs) used to have a thing about new pants every time we got some new one's, she'd try them all out over the space of a day or two. Her 3rd birthday was a nightmare, I think she got about 4 packs of 5. She's currently going through a phase of no pants, fortunately just at home. Maybe she's bored as all her Xmas one's have been worn & washed now. She's like a little granny when she turns round & says she'll put clean pants on to go out 'cos it's nice to be fresh isn't it Mummy'.

Jbck · 06/02/2006 21:17

Oh & if you ask if she's got pants on she'll show you wherever we are!

Nemo, my ds aged three quite often changes his pants and undies. The other day he went to the toilet and came back downstairs in an entirely different pair of pants, different colour and style and everything. Only noticed when went upstairs myself and original pants were on bathroom floor! Ds claimed to have wee'd on them, but could see no sign
