I have a DS nearly 3yrs and and DD4.5 yrs and have just had to scream my way through the last 30 minutes to be able to get them to do anything and to LISTEN!!! As you can tell my tantrum has not abated. However I hate shouting at them, how many times do you have to ask them to brush their teeth?? How many times until I just end up screaming at them. There must be another way of dealing with them when they do not listen, how can I get them to hear me? What am I doing wrong?! Any tips are welcomed as I do not want to get to the stage of losing the plot and tears all round before anything gets done!!!

I feel your pain and I only one have one ds!!

we were yelling at one another constantly.. then someone recommended an app called ireward for my phone

basically a star chart app but you can customise it week on week.. eg brush your teeth without being told3 stars.. you can customise your rewards.10 stars for a magazine, 25 for a toy etc

turned life in this house around overnight.. ds loved getting treats and started going out of his way to help

Wait until they get to 13 and 15....I've forgotten how to speak normally in my house Sad

ireward is this an app for iphone, ipad or some other type of phone? Sounds like a winner!

As for another 10 years time I don't think my voice will last till then!
