Advice, again, about my DS, 4.5

I posted earlier this week about my DS's aggressive "gun" play. Well he has now added another delightful habit: spitting.

He has never spat before but in the last couple of weeks has done it quite often, always at children he knows from nursery.

Obviously I've told his this is unnacceptable, taken favourite toys away for a time, etc. But this all seems to be falling on deaf ears and he is still doing it.

I feel totally worn down with his behaviour at the moment and don't really know what else to do, so any advice would be welcome!

He's 4, its normal. Time out, time out and timeout again. He will learn. Be consistent, that's all you can do....

This is sounding very familiar - my ds is 3y8m and we are getting as lot of this. It flummoxes me as it is such a different kind of behaviour, play and also way of expressing anger than our dd used/uses.

I am coming to believe that boys are just very boisterous creatures Grin and letting them know we find what they are doing is unacceptable is the thing to do - and just hope it sinks in. Eventually.
