Am I missing something?

I use to be able to leave her in her bouncer 20 mins at a time while I did some housework/cooking.
but it has been a few days that she cries (screams) whenever I put her down, but then whenever I pick her up the crying stops
straight away...

Any advice on what it could be?

Just a phase.
Have you tried putting her down on her tummy instead? Do something different to surprise her and it'll keep her entertained whilst you walk away.

HTH

Thanks, I really hope it is just a phase as it is exhausting!

I have started her on solids too, so I thought maybe she is upset as she doesn't get as much bf as she is normally used to.

I will try to put her on her tummy though it might be a short break as she can roll over perfectly! Lol

Hope it gets better soon, I remember it was awful, but DS never laid on his back from 3 days.. always slept on his front or he yelled, even at nappy change.
Babies are strange sometimes.
