I liked Toddler Taming, is there another book similar that would help with a 10 year old?

My 10 year old dsd is sometimes shall we say "really pushing the boundaries" when she's with us, but dh has just had a conversation at home with her mum and she's even worse there. We're thinking about doing a contract and rewards/sanctions, but I'd really like to read up a bit more about it and try and understand what's going on for her too. I found Toddler Taming really good and I wondered if Christopher Green has done a book for older children, or if anyone has read anything else that's any good? TIA

Yes, there is one - it's called "Beyond Toddlerdom - Keeping 5-12 Year Olds on the Rails". Should read it again myself, hmm

1 2 3 Magic by Thomas Phelan - effective discipline for 2 - 12 year olds. She is 10 so may not be too late to try this one. I use it but mine are only 9 and nearly 6 (and baby still too young but will be using it on him too). I have found it really useful.

Theres another book called How to Talk to Kids so they will listen and how to Listen so they will Talk. Can't remember who it is by though. Will try and found out for you. Its American and a bit cheesey but quite good.
