My DS never brings his teddy to nursery but we had a tough morning for various reasons and I was feeling guilty dragging him out the door so let him take him and only realised this evening that he's still there - locked in for the whole weekend Sad. My DS (18 mo) is currently crying in his bed for his teddy. There is no other soft toy in his collection that he cares about. I feel very sad for my DS and even a bit sad for teddy.

Oh no. I did this with DD's Big Bird about two weeks ago. She did forget about him in the end but her little face lit up on Monday morning.

Oh noo :( I remember DD2 did this about a year ago with the teddy she had been attached to since being a baby.. Was a tough weekend! Fortunately DD's nursery is attached to 'head teachers' house, so we got it the next day. Any chance you could go and get it tomorrow - maybe try ringing nursery staff?
Hope he gets it back soon :(

Oh joy! He has fallen asleep and I've just found the teddy is still available from M&S online. We have a huge M&S a few miles from us so fingers crossed that they have them in stock.

Meanwhile, thanks for your suggestions and reassurance. I did try going up to nursery this evening in case there were cleaners around but it was all shut up. I only thought about breaking in for about one second Blush.

Anyway, all quiet upstairs thankfully. And, yes, it will be nice to see the great reunion on Monday!

If you call their customer services then they can normally do a stock check for you. Glad he is asleep!
