Does anyone else have any experience of this and can you please tell me it will pass quickly!! Dd used to be a great sleeper, she'd go to bed about 8ish and sleep til 7ish, now she wakes at least twice and wakes up at 6 every morning. She still has a day time sleep for a couple of hours, do you think this is contributing, she still really needs it and if she misses it she is hellish come 5 and doesnt want to eat dinner and ends up falling asleep on the sofa by about half six!!

I would just cut her nap time down to max an hour or cut out the nap and bring bed time forward to 7pm. My dd2.7 has no nap and goes in the bath at 6.30 and bed at 7pm Smile

I'd say the nap is the culprit (am a bit Envy as my 3.2 year old hasn't had a nap since 2010!); my dd is 3.2 and goes to bed at 7, usually asleep by 7.30 and wakes up any time between 7 and 8 depending on how tired she is/whether baby is yelling at 7/what time she actually went to sleep

Ok, I'm going to give this a go to see if it helps, this morning was 5.45 and as its DH's birthday I had to get up...urgh! The other problem is that she gets up this early because she needs to or has pooed. I dont know if its that that wakes her up or if she does it once she has woken up iyswim.
