My dd (8) is in year 4. She is really struggling with maths, and this is affecting her confidence. I really want a tutor to come to the house once a week to help her, in the first instance, with the basics so she can feel braver.
Anyway-thus far I have had one woman turn up 25 minutes late to tell me it's too hilly where I live and so it would be tricky in the winter. Another said she doesn't like "silly children". And so on...
She (my dd) is a gentle soul, and needs someone who will inspire and engage her, will understand her anxiety, but not be soft.
I'd be so incredibly grateful if anyone knows anyone who fits this description and is willing to come to archway/ crouch end.

Crossing everything. Thanks

Hi helen343, SchnitzelVonKrumm,

//www.piacademy.co.uk are the best in my opinion in North London!

I tried to sent you msgs many times this morning but there was a problem with my iPad I guess! I think I couldn't send them! If you received 5-6 msgs from myself, sorry for that!

Many Thanks,

Hello tantrums and balloons,

I saw an old post on Mumsnet where you mentioned that your neighbours were teachers who tutored in the Crouch End area at their home. My daughter attends Rokesly Junior School and is Year 5. I'm looking for a local maths tutor in particular, but I don't mind if their service covers English also.

I would be gratefully if you can provide me with their contact details.

Many thanks!
