When did you start reward charts or similar systems?

Interested to know what age you started and did it work or do you think there's another age that would have been more suited to this? I have a toddler and he understands consequence now so wondering if we should start but I have some reservations. Thanks.

We used one when ds was around 4 or 5 I think, to get him to stay in his own bed at night. It worked

I used one when ds was nearly four. It works.

We also used a basic sticker chart when he was 2 for dinners. Eat your dinner, get a star type thing. That also worked!
