am getting really fed up with the backchat, stroppyness and general attitude my five year old DD has at the moment. On several occasions today i have asked her to do things or to not do things and she just repeats what i have just said to her in a silly voice or says IM SO BORED. She was rude to her grandparents tonight and then got hysterical when i told her off and slapped her hand. (i hate doing that by the way - but i really felt pushed to the limit this evening). I have threatened her with a smack on several occasions recently (but not followed through as i think smacking is last resort) and her reaction is don't care or won't hurt. SHe is nice most of the time but 20% of the time shes a git! Does anyone else have this? It shocks me that a 5 yr old acts like a flipping teenager. In fact i think her ambition IS to be a teenager as she seems obsessed with games where we have to pretend to be teenagers with new names!
Shes a red haired gemini as well but i doubt that has anything to do with it!
