Are they all much of a muchness? Or any recommendations for a particular sort. Dd showing all the right signs and obsessed with me being on the toilet so I thought I'd get one and see what she thinks of it.

Buy a slimline one from asda for 98p - it has a handle on the back so you can carry it about too. Save your money for something more exciting (or stickers - I'm going through them like the clappers - DD wants one every time she has a wee)

Tesco have good ones-get a padded toilet seat as well. Many DC like to use the toilet quite soon once they get the idea. Good tip for out and about-take a potty, two carrier bags and a roll of kitchen paper. Child needs a wee,put big pad of kp in potty'child wees. Transfer wet paper to carrier bag and wipe potty with more kp. Put potty in other carrier bag and dispose of rubbish in litter bin if wet or dog waste bin if poo.

errrr, why not just take a potty. Dispose of wee in nearest flower bed Grin. Yes, buy cheap potty, it doesn't really matter, although my DD did like her 99p Tesco pink one. Have one downstairs and one upstairs. When you start carry said potty around with you. When she is a bit more advanced use the toilet seat- again one downstairs and one upstairs (and if your daughter is average height she probably needs a step to get on the seat, mine still does at 3.3).
The travel potty, potette (sp?) thingie is quite expensive but really useful- well it is for us- much easier to carry around and I still take it when we are out and about as DD prefers to go on public loos with a toilet seat.

Oooh I like the idea of stickers *DoMeDon". Am planning on potty training DD in the next few weeks and she loves stickers so that could be a great incentive for her.
