My 19 month old is still not yet talking. He can say some sounds and has in the passed said mama and daddy but he doesn't really say these anymore. Has anyone else experienced this??

thanks

Yes! My DS was over 2 before he started talking, just used to babble until then. Now I'm lucky if I can get him to shut up! Honestly, don't worry about it. My brother was the same way and he didn't speak at all until he came out with a complete sentence at 2.5.

My DS is similar,he babbles, but no words at all.
Does he follow instructions? Do you thnk he can hear you?

My DS has been refered to SALT,
we are waiting for an appointment, but they can take some time, tbh if you are worried I would take him to the GP but you will likely be told to wait until he's two and come back then.
however if you don't start the ball rolling,it will be longer before he gets help-if he needs any.
If you get on the waiting list, and he starts talking, you can pull him off.
