Sleep Changes

Hi All! I am new to mumsnet, but i really hope someone can help me! I have a 4 month old son who has always been a wonderful sleeper and by 7/8 weeks was pretty much sleeping through 6 till 6. A couple of weeks ago he had a cold and also seems to be suffering from teething with loads of dribble and constantly chewing on his hands. He has now started getting up at 2am for a feed. I know that most mums would be cuffed that their baby is only getting up once in the night, but to go from sleeping for 12 hours to getting up at 2am is awful!! I am exhausted!
Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can try to get him back into his old 12 hour routine?
Will try anything!!
Thanks everyone! xx

I don't think this is want you want to hear but this is quite normal... Many babies go through 'sleep regression' stages where they start waking up like this. Quite often just before a growth spurt.

Bad news is you just have to live through it, good news is that it tends to 'fix' itself... He'll just randomly start sleeping through again.
