Bet wetting

My DS1 is 3 and a half and still wears night time pants. I have a 1 year old DS2 who is a rubbish sleeper. Sounds slightly odd but never crossed my mind to stop putting training pants on him at night until my friends mentioned it the other day! He is really good at going to the toilet in the day but am really worried about starting the whole night time thing and feel really bad I haven't done this sooner. Am also dreading the two if them waking up for different reasons! Any ideas?

does he have dry nappies in the morning? He may not be ready to be dry at night yet. They have to produce a hormone that suppresses night-time urine production plus they need to be able to wake when their bladder is full so they can get to the toilet in time. Night wetting isnt considered a problem until around the age of 7 so I wouldnt be worried just yet. Both mine had a period of dry morning nappies before I took the nappies away at night.

Thanks for reply. They are wet but think when he wakes in the morning he wees in it through the nappy association! Also he always wants drinks in the night so not sure how that will work with night time sleeping. How old we're yours?
