DD is being a nightmare at the moment. It started about 2 months ago but peaked this week end. She doesnt like DH and tells him she ' no like dada' I work full time but on the weekends she constantly follows me about the house. If I go upstairs she cries, if I go to the loo she kicks the door and cries until she can come in. It would be ok if she was content to play by you but she wants to be picked up all the time. Its impossible if im cooking so I have to leave her cry. She just whinges all day following me about.

Please tell me this is a phase. MIL looks ater her in the day and she says shes fine with them.

DD is a bit like this. She is fine at nursery, with DH when I'm not there etc. But if I am there instead of playing in the living room with DH and DS while I cook she has to stand on a chair next to me. And often that's not good enough.

It has been particularly bad this last week or so because both DH and DS have been quite poorly. But if I try and give DS a bit of a cuddle on the settee while he is watching a DVD all hell breaks loose. Or if I sit on his bed to wake him up. Also because of DH being poorly and I still worked my 3 days but also DS was off school I have been extremely busy with the chores etc.
