DD had her 8 month developmental check today.

DP took her as I've been unwell all day again, they were pleased with her progress the only thing she was not displaying was passing items hand to hand. I'm sure she can do this but she always gets distracted by putting the item and puts it in her mouth. Should I be concerned at all? I think she is doing well anyway she can pull herself to a standing position in the cot and moves up and down (cruising?)

I don't know what the point of starting this thread is im just wanting some reassurance I guess.

She's fine :) At my DD'S 8 month check she still couldn't roll over, crawl, or stand up. At 2 yrs old she is perfectly normal.

They all vary so much but get there in the end!

Cruising is actually walking holding on, though, not just bouncing up and down on her legs. The bouncing's good for her muscles, though!

yeah octavia she starts at the side then I'll look round and shes at the bottom, its always when im not looking! :)
