15 month old hugging everyone

As I type, I know that this is probably a silly question/concern.

My 15 month old spends much of the week with adults going to 2/3 toddler groups a week. She has suddenly developed the habbit of launching herself at other children (she can waddle) and holding on. Not aggressively, at all, but more as a kind way to say hello. She tends to go up to adults and have a babble - no launching there.

I almost hate myself for asking, but is this normal? I wonder if its because she spends a lot of time with adults at the moment? (Looked after by dad during the day and he loves taking her visiting!)

Sounds very normal to me. Nothing to worry about. :)

yep, DS did this - its quite sweet but he would hug so aggressively the other kid (once a 4 year old) fell over backwards from the force of it! It only lasted a very short time. Don't worry, just be standing near to cushion any falls or gently disengage him Smile
