from what I rwad biting is a normal developmental thing but how should I react? DS is 14 months and when I am sitting down he tries to bite my knees. I say 'no' and move him away. Do I just keep doing that?

My ds is 14 months and has started to bite my shoulder when i am holding him i do as you said say no and move him away without making to much of a fuss,
It is just a phase and it will pass, best to not pay to much attention to it as it can then become an attention seeking game.

Yueling just realised its you who posted about the milk last week, have you managed to drop a feed?

YuleingFanjo · 03/03/2012 10:12

hey there :)
I'm going to start doing it this week as he's back in nursery. he had a minor operation this week (undescended testicle which turned out to be no testicle so he only has one bless him) so has been on the boob a lot but I think once he's back on nursery I can drop the feed he usually gets when I pick him up. Having to fast him for the op was quite usefl as it showed me it is possible to fend him off and distract him when I need to Smile

Sorry to hear about ds op, hope he is ok now. And good luck with the milk Smile

We'll see. I didn't leave any milk for him this morning and am either going to not breastfeed when I pick him up or give him a cup of expressed milk. Depends on him as it's his first full day back after the op. He's doing really well.
