I know all babies like to throw...but how much is too much?

My 15 month old son loves to throw. His spoon at the table when he's finished eating off it...his beaker...his balls, toys, stacking cups...anything and everything is up for grabs. He's been doing it for a couple of months

But it worries me that he likes it so much. Am I being silly? And will it pass?

My 14 month old is exactly the same! We encouraged him with throwing balls when he was younger and now i can't explain to him that it is ok to throw a ball but not to throw a big plastic toy at his grandma!

I'm sure it will pass, it's probably just a phase like they have learnt something new and fun.

My 15 month old is exactly the same too!

He sits in his ball pit and isn't happy until he has completely emptied it of it's contents (and thrown a few at the cat for good measure!)

I've been told it is just them learning yet another skill, I just say no to him if he starts throwing heavier things at the cat or other people!!
