is this normal 3 year old behaviour?

DD is very explosive mood wise! She will, throw toys around and hit if things don't go how she want's them to go. She is also bright and can talk well and count up to about 20.
She is quite determined and knows what she wants (doesn't always get what she wants). She will usually wake at least once or twice every night.
I am pretty exhausted with it all and unwell! Sad

Does this sound like your average three year old or does she have a behaviour problem?
Any advice welcome,
TIA From a very tired mum.

Sounds pretty normal to me. Try be consistent in your approach and patient and it will get better Smile

Sounds very familiar to me. Ds1 is 2.10. He tells the pavement off if he falls over. He thinks if he politely asks for something that means he will get it, and has a tantrum if he doesn't. He keeps me awake more than Ds2 4 months, although if they work together they can keep me awake from 5am until 1am, yes 4 hours sleep sometimes. I think of it as they have to do something wrong in the first place so you teach them it's wrong. Some will learn quicker than others.

Sorry, not very helpful. Our Ds2 was like this - he just needed a lot more help with his emotions than ds1 did. There's no quick fix.
