Teething??

Hi there,

My 17 month old has 16 teeth, which I thought for his age was more than average? I thought it was all he would have now until he is around 2ish? This is what I thought but the last 2/3 days he has been showing typical signs of teething. He is drooling, not just dribbling, real constant drool, he has his fingers/ toys in his mouth all the time, a clear runny nose, very red rosy cheeks and to top it off a very very sore bottom, which today had a blister too :( All of these things to me point to teething but surely not as he has them all??
Anyone shed any light on this for me? x

Sounds like teething. They get 20 teeth so you have a few more to go Grin

Sounds like teething to mee too. I know they don't normally get the back molars til age 2-3 but it's not unheard of for them to get them earlier. In contract my DS was 4 when he got his Hmm ! There's a massive variant between each child it seems. At least he'll get it all over and done with early!

Sounds like the 2yr molars to me. Hate to tell you but my DS started to be bothered by these back in Nov (at 21mths) and they STILL haven't cut yet Sad
