My 18 month DD (never a great sleeper but never the worst) has now decided that she no longer wants to go to sleep and that screaming until she is sick is BY FAR the better option. She also wakes every 4 hours (at the end of a sleep cycle?) and repeats the screaming and sick performance.
We've never been ones to let herself cry herself to sleep and have successfully used the 'kiss and retreat' method to get her to sleep by herself every night at 7 and get rid of the dummy.
Is this a phase? How can I stop it? Am in early stages of second pregnancy and am wrecked! I'm currently resisting the lure of the calpol bottle as a chemical cosh but as she didn't go down until 10pm tonight I'm running out of willpower!
