my son is just out of hospital weighing 20lb, he is 2 yrs of age. he is allergic to dairy they are at present testing him for adhd, he is also going through so many tests, im really worried about him is there anyone out there having similar probs with some advice to help us cope with his problems

sure you'd get some great advice if you post on the Special Needs section of mn. Other than that, few ideas except I suppose obvious ones on diet - loads of fresh fish, fruit & veg, maybe look to give him fish oil like eskimo oil?

Hi, not sure if I can be of any help, but my ds is also allergic to dairy (22m) but I give him Goats milk, cheese and dairy free spread. Do you know if you ds can have Goats stuff? I know that prior to 12 months when he was just have breastmilk (and food dairy free food obviously) he was not gaining that much weight, but once I got him onto the Goats milk he has improved dramatically. I do have some receipes and some ideas if you want them, but maybe someone else can be of more help.
