16week old sleeps for ONLY 25mins!

My 16week old DD sleeps for 25mins at a time before waking!

Unless she's out in the pram my DD goes to sleep for approx. 25mins and then wakes. I calm her with my breast and she doses off again only to wake 25mins later! She's not taking any milk from me so it's more of a comfort when she wakes :/ she wont take a dummy.

What can I do??? I've found myself falling asleep with her in bed as this is the only time she doesn't wake repeatedly! I know she shouldn't be in my bed but mummy needs sleep too :(

Any advice? x

She can be in your bed if that's what works for you, but it would be a bit restrictive during the day!

What's her nap pattern? At four months I'd be expecting a morning nap a couple of hours after waking, an afternoon nap around midday and a shortish topup nap around 4.30, then bed around 7ish - does that sound familiar? Presumably you feed her before each nap? (Ignore those who say they should be fed when they wake then put down without another feed - both mine were feeding on waking AND going to sleep!)

My DD slept with us for ages, she needed us near by. My DS was very different and could only sleep swaddled and on his own.
Try swaddling or just keeping her asleep with you, work this into a routine and you'll find she starts napping better in the day.
