Is it ok for 19month old to drink out of a beaker? No lid etc...?

Yes, of course as long as drinks aren't hot and over full, may have a few spillages!

Thanks thought it was ok but worried there may be some scary chocking risk I'd never thought of! good thing though as my DD seems to think she's too big for baby cups and only ever wants to drink water from our glasses! At least plastic beakers are a bit safer
