How do you make friends when your only 4!

DD is four years old has just started school after being at nursery.

She didn't make any friends at nursery and said she hated it (guilt!).
But she started school really well and was happy for first two weeks now she says nobody wants to play with her.
I have told her to carry on trying as it can take time to make lots of friends.
Now she says there's no point trying as "friends are rubbish".
Any thoughts?

Have you thought of having some ay dates with other mums and kids in the class. Know weather bit rubbish but going to park over half term if meeting up for a swim or having a friendly mum in the class over for coffee with their LO.

It's helped my DD by making good friends. Just by myself making some extra effort last term.

Good idea swimming as DD loves it (me too).
She's started using a silly voice at times and I think she gets a bit shy at times.
Maybe this would help.
